Boating Information

From Little Shuswap Lake you can access all 1600 kilometres of the Shuswap Lake System (Little Shuswap, Shuswap, Salmon Arm, Seymour Arm, Anstey Arm, and Mara Lake).   Little Shuswap Lake connects to Shuswap Lake via Little River which is easily  navigable by power boats. It’s too shallow and swift, however, to allow large houseboats to gain access to Little Shuswap Lake.

We have a forty foot dock in front of the home in excellent condition and a mooring buoy.

There are two free boat launches in Chase. One is just a minute away at the public beach, the other 5 minutes away on the Thompson River.

By mid-September the lake level has dropped up to 10 feet, and water levels around the dock may only be 3 feet. Check with us regarding water levels in the Fall.

Power boats can be rented at the other end of Little River at Little Boat World Marina.

We have an excellent “Old Towne” expedition-style canoe we can rent for an additional fee.
