Enjoy a 70 foot wide walk-on sand beach (the first 15 feet towards the lake are our own private property), a 45 foot private dock, mooring buoy, fire pit, three patios, and over 1000 square feet of cedar deck. Our lakefront cabin has an excellent location two blocks from a free public boat launch, a ten minute walk to Uptown, and a five minute drive to golf. The sand beach is just 5 steps down from the 1000 square foot deck! Little Shuswap Lake is ideal for boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and tubing. Boaters can access the larger Shuswap Lake via Little River, and cruise over 1600 kilometres of lakeshore.

What to Do in the Chase:
Enjoy your day lakeside sipping your morning coffee while watching the eagles, osprey, and otters at play on Little Shuswap Lake. Sunbathe on patios surrounded by beautiful gardens, or consider a round of golf at the nearby Sunshore Golf course (an easy 10 minute walk). Better yet, play a full 18 holes at the Talking Rock Championship course located at the opposite end of Little Shuswap Lake (recently rated as one of the top 10 courses in Canada). After a day on the beach and in the water, go bowling or zip-lining, walk to a restaurant, or relax around the fire pit, sip your gin and tonic, and spend a romantic evening counting the shooting stars. Lakefront Cabin Rental Rates
You reserve a 32 day vacation block at our lakefront cabin and stay as long as you wish (minimum 7 consecutive days). You only pay for the days you stay. Our base rate is $3600 CAD per week for 6 guests and $500 a day for each additional day after the first week. Seventh and eighth guests pay $200 for the first week and $28 per day for each additional day . You’re booking directly with the homeowner, so there are no additional fees except for a $500 refundable security deposit. Fees apply to all adults and children (including day visitors) with the exception of infants less than 12 months of age.
There are three, 32 day vacation blocks available in 2019: June 13 to July 15; July 16 to August 17; and August 18 to Sept. 19. Only three 3 parties will be able to rent the cottage in the summer of 2019.

The Village of Chase and surrounding area offers boundless opportunities for fun and recreation.
Sunshore Golf Course is a 9 hole course right in the Village and just a couple of minutes drive from our cabin. Or play a full round at the excellent Talking Rock Championship Golf Course at the opposite end of the lake (15 minutes by car -or take your boat!). On Tuesday evening, walk down the beach to the Village Park, check out the food trucks, and listen to live music at the bandstand while the kiddies tackle the playground equipment. Check out the Farmer’s market on Friday, go bowling, tour the local museum, take the little ones to the wading pool, or catch up on recent magazines at the Library.
Go Zip-lining with Treetop Flyers in Chase Creek Canyon is a favourite of guests staying in Shuswap cabin rentals. For for those not wanting an adrenaline rush, hike up the switchback trails above Chase. Still sounds too strenuous? Take a short a walk to Chase Creek Falls (right next to the Village), hike up Chase mountain switchbacks for a view, or bicycle through the flat cornfields and farms alongside the South Thompson River.
Ready for a Drive?
Visit the BC Wildlife Park 25 minutes west on the Trans-Canada. Just a few minutes from the Wildlife Park you can go horseback riding at Erin Valley Riding Stables . The stables are across the road from Eagle Point Golf Course, so non-horsey family members can hit the links while the rest of the family rides off into the desert hills. While out that way, you’re only 10 minutes from Kamloops if you need to stock up at Costco or want to visit the City.
Heading east, (about 20 minutes), visit Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park and walk/hike the 26 kilometres of trails alongside the Adams River and marvel at the historic log flumes. Adams River is home to the world famous Sockeye Salmon run in mid-October. Literally millions of Salmon arrive to revisit their original spawning grounds. Families staying in Shuswap vacation cabins also enjoy go-carts and mini-golf situated 30 minutes east in Salmon Arm.
